We got up early September 30th to head out to the range where the Glock match was to be held. It was at the South River Gun Club, Covington, Georgia. The country around there is very green, open and really pretty. If any one has been to a gun match before, this is one of the more beautiful settings. Everything was set up in the area where they hold their cowboy shoots so it seemed as though at least one of the shooters should be wearing a cowboy hat, but I didn't see any. Wayde and Gary shot all the stages and were fairly happy with the results, especially Gary, who had a personal best. We were done by early afternoon so ate lunch there, bought some t-shirts and were on our way. This will definitely go down as the longest distance we have driven to a match, although we flew to to the IPSC Nations in Fredericksburg, Virginia several years ago.
