October 12th (Little Wayde's 10th birthday) we got up early and left Caspar, Wyoming. We drove through beautiful country, especially through Dubois, Wyoming. My thoughts at this time were on reaching Jackson and seeing my new granddaughter (Beth and Wade, too, of course). When we started over the pass and down into the valley and the Grand Tetons came into view, we knew we were close. Seeing a grandchild for the first time has to be one of the sweetest experiences in life. Seeing our little Sunny Day for the first time was wonderful. Beth and Wade were doing well and we had a wonderful stay as you can tell by the photos. We even saw some moose in a yard down the street from Beth's house. We sadly left Sunny, Beth and Wade and October 14th, drove to Ontario, Oregon and spent the night. It was good to be back in Oregon and we were getting anxious to get home after our long trip. We stopped the next night in Portland and stayed with Mariah and Eddie. It was great to give Cassidy and Addie big hugs and knew we would have to see Scott and Wayde before long to make our homecoming complete. We left Portland for Newport on October 16th. I can't explain how good it felt to see our ocean again and to finally arrive home.
